Did you guys see when Dale Jarretts back panel flew over the fence? That was great! The guy who got it was just walking along, and it fell right in front of him. He stopped, looked down, picked it up and kept on walking.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it on ebay in the next couple of days.

In todays day and age I'm surprised that someone from security didn't take it away from him and return it to the team so they could sell it.

I've seen all kinds of stuff on E-bay. If you want tires, hoods or whatever you can find it on E-bay ..... for a price.

Anything is absolutely correct. A girl at a local state college is trying to raise tuition $$ by selling herself for a date. She wants to go for a pizza and some talk. ZERO bids last I knew. I'd rather spend my bucks on a hood or used tire.

I'm not the world's closest follower of the sport, but I hadn't heard anything about Jarrett setting a retirement plan in place. Think this fan will hold onto it until after that time, just to see if it goes up in value?

I really doubt it will go up in value, unless Jarrett wins the championship this year........which is highly doubtful. I think this is a piece where to sell it, you would have to "sieze the moment" since millions of TV viewers saw it actually come off his car and go over the fence. I was surprised they let him run around the track for quite a few laps with it waving like a flag.

On Jayski's site, it says he is staying with RYR, he's had other offers, but right now, it sounds like his plan is to stay with RYR through to his retirement!

yeah this is what surprised me most also... knowing it was going to fly off at any given moment... that's what I meant up there when I posted... "just glad it happened the way it did"...
