Arrow Food City 500 in Bristol

Lot of cautions today. Kurt Busch wins the Bristol race by bumping Kenseth with 5 laps remaining and holding off the 29 car.

Chat about the Food City 500 here.

Re: Food City 500 in Bristol

Here's the unofficial Top 10:

1. Kurt Busch (2)
2. Kevin Harvick (29)
3. Matt Kenseth (17)
4. Carl Edwards (99)
5. Bobby Labonte (43)
6. Mark Martin (6)
7. Greg Biffle (16)
8. Kyle Busch (5)
9. Ryan Newman (12)
10. Kasey Kahne (9)

Busch wins, Kenseth takes the points lead and almost comes to blows with Gordon. Wild finish. Thoughts?

What was that? 5'8 vs 5'9? They both later offered on air apologies.

We'd rather new members post in existing threads before you start new threads. Other than the Gordon shove, what did you think about the FoodCity500?

Because Jeff Gordon For A Long Time Would Run A Driver Into The Wall And Say, Not My Fault, When Done Back To Him He Would Cry Like A Child Who Didn't Get His Way.

Re: Food City 500 in Bristol

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, mamijole

Anytime you run at Bristol, there's gonna be bumping, donuts, paint trading, spin outs.... that's just part of short track racing. Kenseth admitted he should have let Gordon cool off before coming over. I think he's right

I Wish I Could Have Been There, Live And In Person To See A Short Track Race. So Close That It Feels Like Your Sitting On Top Of One Of The Race Cars. Maybe In April I'll Be At Texas Motor Speedway.

Just looking for some feedback on today's race besides Gordon haters ranting about drivers dealing with issues

Here's some from me

I thought Tony Stewart drove a good race today. His car was strong until the last 50 laps and then he seemed to just go downhill. His bump on Martin Truex 1st made me think about his old ways but after I thought about it, I think Truex deserved it, he shouldn't have been giving Gordon hell when he's off the lead lap and there's the other drivers (like Stewart) waiting on him.

So how about some feedback from you, mamijole?
