Okay, then, fair enough. Bumping a teammate is bush league, no matter who you are.

The beer isn't to share and a trip to the GTG hauler is generally when you've been bad. Anyone that compiles all the predictions info gets at least one pass from mean ole me !!!

He actually did bump him but it was a bump to move him not to crash & pass him. I don't approve of bump, pass & crash or whatever but at least he didn't wreck him.

LSC I don't have a problem with jeffie on this one I don't think "win at all cost" myself. If you have to wreck him for the win you don't deserve the win.

I agree they have, but just because they do don't make it any less "low down dirty racing".

But if you're not gonna wreck your team mate then you shouldn't wreck anyone.

That is wright. Some bring up Sr. and him doing this and I know he would do everyone the same teammate or not. If you was in the way he would move you.

You know me ... I have to jump on the Sr. bandwagon! He treated everyone the same teammate or not. Actually, I think there were fewer teammates back then.

Something wrong with "teammate or not"? Do you really think Gordon didn't push Johnson out of the way because they are part of a team? How boring would this approach be?

Not a Gordon or Johnson fan, but I don't think any driver should be conservative with a teammate for the win.

That wasnt the Jeffie we've been accoustomed to. What if it would have been say, Martin Truex instead of his teammate in front? I'm sure the outcome would have been different and Mr. Truex would be now cussing Wonder Boy.
You could tell he was not happy after the race. Anyone else would be been spun out.

If that for example was Hamlin, Jeff would have probably spon him, as he should have, it's called going for the win, and if he dosen't move out of the way, then do it for him. But when you have a teammate in front of you, it changes the outcome, especially with Jeff owning the 48 car, so Jeff gets owner points from the 48. So Jeff was a little cautious, but he still was trying to move Jimmie out of the way, but not trying to spin him. Why do I like the way it ended? Well, because HMS finished 1 2.

So what you're saying Mike is that Jeff didn't really have a passion to win at any cost. That is contrary to what you talked about before. Which way will you have it ??? You can't have passion one week and then not another.

What I'm saying is, you change the way you race your teammates. You still go for the win as much as you can, but race them a little more carefully than you would with someone else.
