Re: Toyoter Suffers at Bristol

I am so SICK AND TIRED of this top 35. Waltrip should have made California and Atlanta, and he should have made Bristol, but since to this top 35 crap, he is being robbed. I wonder how the sponsors feel about this garbage?

Anyways.... what is interesting to point out is guys like McMurray, Regan Smith, Dave Blaney, etc are qualifying better with the COT than the original car. But guys like Harvick and Busch that qualify with the original car really good aren't qualifying that well with the COT. But the strong teams like HMS are on top with the COT, as Gordon won the pole, and Johnson qualified 6th. I predicted HMS, Gordon in general, to be really good with the COT, and it looks like my prediction is right.

Well FORD is referred to as the Blue Oval, while the Chevy crowd are called Bowties, and Dodge would be rammers or wth you want to call them. Toyota has so many...... Yotas, Toyoters, Riceburners..... who cares.

I agree, I sorta wanna say, "Good things happen to good people, bad things................", but that's kinda harsh.

It has nothing to do with being a fan of HMS and Gordon. HMS is the top team in NASCAR right now, so I think they will come out on top with the COT.

Re: Toyoter Suffers at Bristol

I don't like the top 35 either, but Toyo came into this knowing that it existed. They obviously had no points from last year and have very few for this year. I still stand by my prediction that Toyoter will not do well in its first few years in cup due in part to the lack of experience in the series. Not only that but the lack of better than average drivers.

Re: Toyoter Suffers at Bristol

they should qualify the whole field on time for the first 5 races to make it fair for new teams.

it's not really starting with a clean evan slate if 3/4 of the field is garenteed to race.
