Okay, those other threads about the most hated athlete inspired me to start one about Nascar drivers. Who are the drivers you can't stand? Tell me how you really feel. My list goes like this:

The brothers Busch - total idiots who think the racing world revolves around them. "Officer, do you know who I am?"
Jimmy Johnson - "I didn't cause that wreck, he checked up"
Jeff Gordon - although he doesn't seem to be as annoying as he used to be

Anyone who drives a Dodge or a Ford (Pettys excluded) Tony Stewart even though he drives a Chevy. Dale Earnheart because everyone talkes like he is a god but was one of the dirtiest drivers ever. This should cause some comments. I really don't dislike any driver that much.

You hate the driver because of the brand he's in? I can see not liking a particular brand, but hating a driver because of the brand is silly. I think you need a "Which brand do you hate thread?"
I'm not going to say I hate anyone, I just have my favorites. Although JJ, ,JG and Kyle Busch are at the bottom of the barrel, and it doesnt matter to me what brand they drive.....I dont like 'em and its NOT because they are in a Chevy, its because they're arrogant punks and Kevin Harvick is gaining ground on them in the punk department.

Hate is such an ugly emotion but if JG and JJ locked bumpers and hit the wall together, I wouldn't complain about it. Ditto for the Busch brothers.

This is a tough one.

Are we judging both their media personalities and driving style? If it's driving style, I would say Stewart, for his "practice one-way, preach another" approach. But this is a tough area to judge.

Media personalities is much easier for me.

17, and 19 are just boring/monotone. 6 seems to exaggerate things (i.e. I.... I just..... I just don't know what to say... sniff)

I respect all of the cup drivers, past and present, for the job they do. Some are just better than others at it.

Dale Earnhardt Sr. gets my vote... I like his son Jr. but never liked his fathers style of racing... Tony Stewart is reminding me much of him lately... this is why I dislike them...

If they happen to get knocked out of the race they're the first to cry about it... but the first excuse out of their mouths when they do the same to someone else is... "that's racing"... here in the real world we call these people hypocrites...

the reason I expressed above is also why I like the people I do...

Mark Martin is on the top of the list of those I admire most...

I can't stand Ryan Newman or Kurt Busch--so I it's really easy for me now that they are both Penske drivers. Both are whiners who can never take responsibility for their actions and put the blame on everyone else.

Kyle Busch would have to go on that list, too. He's a cocky little fellow and much like his big brother.

I don't really mind Tony Stewart, but his "do as I say not as I do" schtick is crap.
