depends where you live .. here in the liberal capitol of Texas (Austin) we even get tree hugger commercials during races...

I moved out of Austin 5 or 6 years ago, but unfortunately my cable feed still comes from Austin...

but to answer your question, at least one per race! tho they even it out with the same number of "male" commercials. gotta be politically correct, ya know

Oh, Racer Duck--

Now you're showing your true colors, my friend! "Tree-hugger"? I'm not going to argue with you, but, clearly most commercials are directed at the male audience during a race.

That's ok by me! After all, the sponsors paying for these commercials are going for their target audience. I just got a hoot out of the "feminine" products verses that male dysfunction thing.

Frankly, I don't even watch the commercials. I typically queue up one or two other programs on my remote control memory, and hop back and forth during commercials!
Friends?

yeah, friends.

what colors? Red, White & Blue? ya gotta know that the "tree huggers' have put a big dent in development in central Texas - so much so that folks who have owned land for generations can't do anything with it 'cause of some bird or lizard or cricket or whatever. sorry -- that's a hot button...

deep in the heart of Texas, racing ain't a big deal (sadly) so when there's a gap in the commercials action, there's liable to be almost anything show up on the tube .. usually directed at the guys, but not always...

wish I was smart enough to watch more than 1 program at a time. luckily I watch the races with my son and he pulls up the race on the 'net so we can keep track of what's going on during those times when there's no A/V of the action .. or non-action...

More Peyton Manning commercials! Those are hilarious!
