A career defining two weeks for Mark Martin in Vegas this week.
If he does well and is still leading the points will he sit out at Bristol?

He says that he is enjoying his part time status and insists he wont be driving............me thinks otherwise, especially if he's leading the points.

I would imagine that if Mark has a good race at Vegas and Atlanta he will stay in the drivers seat....your thoughts

I've always wanted to see Mark win the Cup. He retired the season before last, didn't he? Then, he came back. Now, he's part-time. I don't understand how anyone could be a part-time driver, unless, of course, they s***.

Personally, I hope he stays.

I'm not sure if Mark has really made up his mind like he says. It would be pretty tempting for him to stay the season if he's still leading the points in the next couple weeks. I don't see any problem with that. If I had plans of retiring, but found myself in a good spot early in the season, I'd say what the hell. Why not give it a shot, I'm already here.

I sure hope he does. I would love to see him take it home this year. The sentimental favorite....Daytona would have been awesome.

I know when I got close to retirement I thought about it for a while ..... about 6 seconds !!! Wish I had never done it. Stay at home, Pay goes right into checking account. Now I have to figure out what cruise I want to go on next. Retirement isn't easy. I can understand why he has second thoughts !!!!!
