With the Splitter on the COT Nascar is not going to make the teams repair it if it gets torn up which we all know on the mile or more tracks its gona hurt downforce big time! Do y'all think that even though the teams are'nt made to repair it think they will take the time to repair it or just cut the rest of it off and pray?

They'll probably just cut it off. I saw an article on nascar.com that talked about Bowyers wreck at the test session at Bristol. He downed that splitter. Didn't like it cause it couldn't take a hit.

Let's see --- I say they find and do exactly what it takes to result in the best lap times.

Grab sheet metal, pop rivets and race tape and "form" the damage advantageously. Pretty much what has occurred on more than one occasion today.

I think alot of teams will fix the splitter because it will keep them from loosing all that downforce. Especially at the bigger tracks. It is necessary. Thats why nascar won`t make them....they will want to if they can.
