Fact or Fiction Did anyone see Rusty Wallace on ESPN Fact or Fiction today? With the INDY 300 coming up they did some comparisons between NASCAR and INDY drivers that was pretty interesting. One thing that Wallace agreed that was Fiction was that NASCAR drivers had more nerve than INDY drivers. He recalled a time when he was in a INDY car taking turns at 230mph and he was like woah...these INDY guys definitely have more nerve. I wish I could remember more of them. Anyone else see it?

Re: Fact or Fiction I kneew Rusty was slated to announce some for the NASCAR circuit, but did not know that he was going to do air time for the INDY circuit...what happened, did the INDY cirucit loose a whiner? Is it possible that and INDY car can be called a Hot Rod and be on a Rail? Is Penske out of his mind? The INDY league is full of foreign cars with foreign drivers with foreign engines etc...thats a good place to keep all of the off-shore sportsmen...NASCAR should be left the to sacred ground of USA only vehicles...that leaves out the Dodge and Toyota and the other wanna-be's...Rusty may just fit into that INDY circuit after all.

Re: Fact or Fiction I'm a little leary of former drivers being announcers. Look at DW and Jimmy Spencer. My personal opinion is that they leave a lot to be desired as far as being good announcers. Just because Mark McGwire could hit home runs doesn't mean he can pitch strike outs. Do what you do best and leave the rest to the professionals.
