What's up with Penske being the only Dodges to run the Intrepid?

Any improvments Penske makes with the Intrepid are going to be thrown out the window when they HAVE TO run the Charger (next year, I think).

Roger Penske must have a hell-of-a Beta-Max video collection.

Well, I can't see Toyota putting all their efforts in BDR, and Penske owns a Toyota dealership, so who knows?

Well, it all makes sense. Why else would he not be running the Charger unless he NEVER plans on running it. Thanks for helping me see the light, you guys!

I agree with Nevadstars, I think he's dreaming about Toyota every night in his sleep. Just like he did when he redesigned Detroit Deisel's wich became the 60 series.

Well Penske's statement may very well be true...BUT...given Dodge's little skirmish with Bill Davis and the teensy little figure that he now owes Dodge...maybe Roger is a little smarter than to let us all know right now.

If in fact he stays with Dodge then the answer is simple. Dodge is petitioning for a new nose piece. What better way to make a statement then to race what isn't on the market any longer. Think Dodge may whine a little louder? Of course it would help their arguement if the intrepid actually raced better than the charger!

I would not be at all surprised if Penske went to Toyota! In fact, after that comment: we have a contract, we're not switching. Penske will have Toy's in '07, every time he says something of that nature, he does what he says that he isn't doing. Think back to right before we changed to Dodge - "we have a contract with Ford, we're not switching, 2 weeks later, Rusty and Ryan were in Dodge's. My prediction is he will go to Toyota. Not only does he have Toy dealership"s", but what brand of car does his teams run in Cart? Toyotas!!

And I believe he was running Mercedes in Cart when he switched from Ford to Dodge (Daimler/Chrysler).
