Hey everybody, I'm now an "official" pit crew greeter! I want to extend a warm welcome to all our members, especially our newer members who may have missed being welcomed here. Our administrators are doing a great job, as we are only about one month old. It is hard to keep track of everyone, being as some members do not post or only post a few times or once. We want to hear everybodies voice! I find it to be quite alot of fun to "chat" with people around the world about racing Nascar style. Please join in all the fun that we have and go to the next level together!! Maybe you haven't posted because you don't like the thread topics that are there - start a new one, that's how we got the threads we got.
Maybe we can get the administrators to start a "new members" page on our forum pages for us to all say "Hey" to everybody, it might be a good way to break through the ice. Help me out - give it a try here in this thread. I'm Vickie, I live in Lancaster, Pa and I'm a long time race fan. Old school heroes - Allison, Yarbough, Petty, and of course Yates. Present school - I like quite a few of the guys, it's quite a different animal now. Who's next? Thanks for the help!

I found this site by doing a Yahoo search, and am obviously a "new member". But am I missing something? I haven't seen anyone that has been here before February of this year, last month. So, aren't we all noobs? Although Lefty_noob has enough posts (over 1000 in a month ) that makes it appear that he's been here a long time.

I found it by searching for "NASCAR forum" on webcrawler.com

The only reason I did that was because the NASCAR.com message boards sucked @55.

Thanks Tin Can and jamminj, I appreciate the posts, I found it by "accident", I thought I want to see if there is some other Nascar forum other than the Nascar one, clicked on this one and stayed. Lefty Noob is a moderator, hence the MANY posts! But it's fun to give him a little razz! It would be really cool if we could get more people to post, but it will happen, in due time, in the meantime we got us, so let's keep having fun and post away. There's one thread - Tin, I think you started about a chat room, we probably have to wait until we get more posters to even be able to ask about that. If people won't post on the board, I can't image they would in a chat room, either. Come on Sunday!!

I found it through yahoo search when looking for Tennessee Vols info. I am fairly new to NASCAR but have watched it for about 5 years. I love Chevys, Team Hendricks, The Vols and BBQ. I cook competivly on the MIM circuit. I've had a lot of fun posting on this site. Look forward to more info from ya'll.

It is the Memphis In May circuit. We have contest all throughout the South East U.S. You may have seen it on the food channel if you watch that.

1st, thanks for joining and chatting here. These forums are for you and they'll become whatever you make of them. Hopefully, we're a forum for passionate fans but without the name calling and flaming that goes on at most message boards. I've tried to keep the forum rules simple and self explanatory.

As Team Yates said, we're only a few weeks old, really kicked off in early February. The plan is to have a forum for every major sport and team eventually. Right now we've got 60 forums and we'll add forums as quickly as it makes sense. If you're just here to talk NASCAR, that's great but I hope you'll occasionally check out what's going on in the rest of the community (click here to see Today's Posts) and chime in about anything that interests you.

I've lived in Tennessee since I was 3 years old. I'm a big Vols fan but love most every sport and that's the main reason GoTeamsGo.com came about. I'm a full time web guy and I want this to be the best place on the web to talk about all sports. With your help, that's what it will become!

Thanks KENVOL, no I haven't seen it, but I will be looking for it this May, is it a single person or a team competition? Thanks rmjvol, I've been to a couple of the other pages, just haven't posted, at least as of yet. I don't want to look like a total idiot, so I need to gain a little more knowledge in those sports before I post there. But I'm finding quite a bit of knowledge, going there and quietly reading.

Thanks Team Yates, The MIM cooking circuit is a team competition. They show the highlights on the food network from time to time. You can cook up to three catagories Whole Hog, Shoulders and Ribs.
