Cup Lite Tonight: Stater Bros. 300 Well, yet another Busch race with over half the field full of cup drivers. We've been through it before, so we might as well go with what we got. If you're gonna have half a field of Cup drivers, it would at least be nice to have one of the lower tier drivers win it. That's why I'll be rooting on Dave Blaney (regardless of the fact he's in a toyo) starting from the pole.

Re: Cup Lite Tonight: Stater Bros. 300 Sure, I'll be watching Wallace and some other Busch Regulars who may have a chance, such as Jon Wood, but I've come to realize that the only chance a Busch regular has to beat a more experienced, funded and mechanically backed team is purely by luck. By the way, Blaney is not quite an ex Cup driver, he's still running full season in a Bill Davis Toyota.

Re: Cup Lite Tonight: Stater Bros. 300 Yeah, true. We went through the whole issue of whois in danger of losing their ride before the season started, Blaney was one of them. He's holding his own though.

Re: Cup Lite Tonight: Stater Bros. 300 I like Steve Wallace but I think before he can really become a good driver he's got to grow up a little. He's a hot head. Nothing wrong with being emotional, but it doesn't always translate into success at 180 mph. I'd rather see him win over any of the Buschwhacker's, though.

Re: Cup Lite Tonight: Stater Bros. 300 I compare this (to a degree) with Dale Jr. Both these guys are capable but have been given a little extra lift with the help of their last names. That shouldn't carry any weight but it does. Maybe Steve will be put in his place by someone who can show him that the name Wallace means something to racing fans, but Steve Wallace needs to earn the respect. That stuff isn't automatic.

| Re: Cup Lite Tonight: Stater Bros. 300 anyone watching this ? Montoya was wrecked and he could do nothing about it.....another driver was wrecked and went right up the track in front of him then the stupid reporter caught up with them outside the aid-station.....she told Montoya he was just learning his lessons basically......just what is it he was supposed to learn from that ???????? she is such an idiot.....its like she acted as if he made a mistake or something...like he could have avoided the wreck
