Hey, Simple Simon--

My all-time favorite is/was Dale Earnhardt. Now, my favorite is Jr., of course. I like Stewart, Martin, Kahne, Waltrip, and more.

Don't like the Gordons or the Buschs.

What about you? Who are your favorites?

What do you think of this new buck, Gilliland?

i loved Earnhardt way back when he drove for Wrangler

i havent really followed NASCAR since he died as far as liking another driver

this year im getting back into it and hitching my wagon to Montoya

as for Gilliland......i think what he has done so far is amazing....after falling a lap down at Daytona and finishing in the top 10 he has a bright future

i just hope Montoya isnt a flash in the pan.......i think if he sticks around 4 or 5 years he has a shot at being real special

I don't follow NASCAR as passionately as I did before Dale was killed. It's just not the same without him.

I love the sport, so I have to find someone else to cheer for. Jr. is the obvious choice.

Montoya was very successful in open-wheel racing. I think he'll do well in stock-car racing as well. We'll see ...

Welcome PPS to the best forum on the web. As you I am a Sr. fan and a Jr. fan. I also like you do miss Sr. and don't think NA$CAR is or will be the same without him.

Cool! Other people around that were Sr. fans then switched to Jr. after the tragedy at Daytona! I thought I was the lone one around here. PPS, welcome to GoTeamsGo! candlejack, I'm amused that you even know who "Penelope Pit Stop" is I always watched that cartoon as a child. Don't remember the name of it, but I sure remember Penelope. I guess racing is in my genes. As a female, I hope I'm not the minority of your members. Although, I can certainly stand up to the guys

Hey Penelope, I also want to welcome you to our forum, we have alot of fun here. Being an Earnhardt fan isn't a problem, just thank God you don't like Gordo!! LOL!! I know who Penelope was/is also, I also used to watch that cartoon. There are a few other females, I'm one also!! lilsexy08, indyNASCARgirl and Curves24 also are female. Glad that you found us!!

Even if being an Earnhardt fan is a problem, I joined for the diversity of the NASCAR fan base. I think that's what makes this sport so fun. Fans are so faithful, no matter what. I'm glad to be a part of it.

"Gordo" got the pole for today, I guess. He can run well in clean air, and I usually start watching something else if he gets ahead. Traffic is his struggle, but that's the most exciting to me. I love the restrictor-plate races.

I've gotta go out the web now as I watch the race to find the origin of Penelope. This is "driving" me nuts ... no pun intended . I thought she was a minor character. First, I thought she might have been on "Speed Racer", but that's not it.
