| Re: Sunoco tells Harvick to wear another helmet here is a slight difference some NASCAR fans may not know about the deal Sunoco gave NASCAR to be the only auto fuel sponsor Quote:

| Re: Sunoco tells Harvick to wear another helmet Here was some speculation from 2003 about the cost of the fuel sponsorship NASCAR Seeking $150 Million Fuel Deal: NASCAR's asking price to replace ConocoPhillips' 76 as its official gasoline brand is $15 million a year in barter and cash for at least 10 years, Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal reports this week. Staff writer Terry Lefton says the current deal is valued at $5 million to $6 million a year, mostly barter as fuel for the Winston Cup, Busch Series and Craftsman Truck Series. The story says the probable contenders include ExxonMobil, Shell, Sunoco and BP/Amoco.(Winston Cup Scene Daily Newsletter)(7-14-2003) So I'll bet its more than $225,000 |

| Re: Sunoco tells Harvick to wear another helmet If Sunoco doesn't want Harvick to wear a Shell logo on his suit, maybe Tony Stewart's Home Depot Car shouldn't be allowed to race at Lowe's Motor Speedway, and Kurt Busch's car shouldn't be allowed to run in the Budweiser Shootout.
