I would love to see this happen, and I think eventually it will. He needs to get used to everything first, and I don't think things will go completely in his direction for a couple of years. Too many kinks to work out, but after that, watch out.

As for my predictions, well, I think it's going to be between Stewart and Gordo. After Gordon's car failing inspection and LeTarte's "think out of the box" comment about the springs (I think it was springs), to Kenny Wallace, I don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about future inspections. I've got to give the edge to Stewart. Seems to me that whole team is just always dialed in.

Yup, yup. I'm not a fan of Tony and his attitude but they certainly know how to get the job done. Do you think it's possible that since they haven't been caught "Knausing" that maybe they don't do it ???? Naaaahhh

As for Montoya my guess is that he is a flash in the pan. The majority (note I didn't say all) of open wheel drivers try it and leave. This may or may not be the case for Juan but at this very, very early stage of his NASCAR career I'll just hang with the odds and say that he won't do that well and will return to his roots with more popularity and greater appreciation for what he is best at. Time will tell.

That will keep JPM out of the championship for a few years atleast, how manytime did we see mcmurry and mears come close only to see that puff of smoke.........that not to say JPM won't move on to another team and do it.


I think jeff burton is gonna do it this year.

Jeff Gordon is going to win the championship this year. He's hungrier than anyone else in the field to get that 5th championship, and I think he will. It will be a very close field this year.

And just so you don't think I'm biased, I'm a 43 fan.

I just think Tony is the best out there. And a lot of the drivers will tell you the same. From Mark Martin, Elliot Sadler, Dale Jr, even Sr thought a lot of him before his death. You can put Tony in almost any kind of car and he wins.

He is nowhere near the polished, PC driver that all of todays clones are, to include Bobby Labonte, and although not my fave driver, I respect what he can do.
