| Re: DW and His Take on the Truth My truth is that yes most of the announcers have done a less than good job. I would have thought that the idea of putting drivers behind a microphone was to add the point of view of a former driver. The problem is that they think they are full fledged announcers and that they are good at it. DW in particular is not a person that should ever be allowed in front of a mic. His style is loud and immature. Yes he was a champion driver. In my mind he wasn't a great driver but the record shows that he was a champ. As soon as he got out of the car and was being interviewed his 12 year old mind took over. Humor and levity are always a nice addition to a great interview. Nonsense and immaturity score no points with me. If they would allow announcers to announce and color commentators to add some facts from a drivers point of view the entire listening experience might be better. Until they get announcers that announce and commentators that add info we'll always have a group better known by all as the village idiots. |

| Re: DW and His Take on the Truth I agree about the problems this season with the TV announcers, you might like to read my NASCAR TV blog and then leave me some feedback. This season has been interesting so far, from DW and Michael to Brent Musburger and his big hat. Thanks. |
