Now that doesn't seem fair. The last poster to do that was fined 73 points. No freakin' justice anywhere.

He's the poster boy for bringin the ricers into cup, has major sponsors for his team, and the cheating has overshadowed Toyo's first cup dance. In short... it's just more fun.

For a majority of us there is no real love for the Waltrip boys ...... Mind you I don't speak for everyone and I'm OK with those that like them. For me they belong in some other business.

It is on Jayski's site the the crew chief is gonna get canned. Also, the director of Toyota racing is gonna send out a memo saying the MWR has used two of three strikes, and the next team to step out of line could lose factory backing! OUCH

I saw that too. Maybe,(not that I'm on Yota's side by any means) all the manufacturers should take this line.

Agreed. I think they should be suspending the teams for the weekend. That would get their attention. I'm sure that 100 point penalty opened up some eyes!

And you are right about the manufacturers. Maybe this will start a trend~

Re: Waltrip's Crew Chief And VP Ejected

I'm also wondering, was David Hyder a patsy? Mikey was pretty quick to give him the axe. Was he just trying to see how far he could go, and if he got caught, replace DH with his REAL chief? It seems to me that one of the other teams has stated that they "already have a replacement". I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

No doubt he is the Fall Guy for the deal. They have to do it to show Toyo something, hopeing to take off the heat. In the end, the crew cheif is the one reponsible, or maybe even the car cheif. He may have to go as well. It is really just as much, if not more, on him to see that the car is prepped to race.
