I don't know if you've seen this but Bahre and Smith have decided to offer the NWS for sale. During the groundbreaking at Charlotte for the Nascar hall of fame, Smith made mention of it to the press and denied there was an interested buyer, said just that he and Bahre had come to a decision to offer it for sale. Why now I wonder? Anybody want to speculate?

Hmmm... The problem is getting some sort of racing back at the track. We may have to create a GTG Summer Shootout Series to raise some cash. Maybe set it up like a Saturday night dirt race with qualifying, 2 heats and the feature. Am I the only one for converting the Speedway back to a dirt track? Well any way, lets see what the save the speedway fund comes up with

Well, it isn't really my idea, I am just a supporter. But the Save the Speedway board hasn't really come up with any ideas, so... uhhh... I have no idea what a guiding master is either, what do I do.
