great report on DEI but once again DW seems a bit off in his assessment. Dale Jr. is just a driver. Teresa owns it and until she decides to change it he will have to live with the current contract. Should he be an owner to some degree?? Yes

She needs to realise Jr is in control of this. If she dosen't give Jr ownership, Jr leaves DEI, and that will be a big hit. She better be careful on what she does, because if Jr leaves, the fans will follow him, and DEI is nothing without Jr.

He should be an owner and not just him...Dale Earnhardt built DEI for the family and what were seeing is that Teresa is taking everything..Dale Jr. shouldn't be "just a driver" in his dads company.

I can see Jr racing with RCR. Childress is waiting for the call from Jr with open arms for him to come, and if Teresa dosen't give Jr ownership, that's where he's going, unless he gets a huge offer from someone else to join them.

I agree that he shouldn't be just a driver but according to the current contract signed that is what he currently is. The media isn't where this discussion belongs. It was good to see Jr. not side with Harvick's comment

I think you're right. Jr really does have the upper hand in this discussion. She can only lose on this deal if she fights. I still think it is an issue for the lawyers to deal with, not the National Inquirer.

I agree, Jr. have all the rights to ask for a stake in DEI and I think that the reason for Jr. to ask for a 50% is because he wants to be a part of big decisions that might be taken later but I also think that they should compromise.
