I know there are many Radio stations in the USA, and many will cover the Daytona 500 and other NASCAR races. I live in Wales and need to find a station I can tune into online for the races. I love NASCAR, Tony Stewart is my favourite but I also admire the abilities of Kurt Busch.
Can one of you kind souls give me a link to a station which will cover the 500 and the Shootout and give NASCAR news etc etc.....

One day, one day I will go to the 500 and to Talladega, but the British are largely unaware of the magnificent uncertainties which make NASCAR so exciting to me. So I need a link to at least satisfy my needs.

The race will be broadcasted by MRN so if you can find out what frequency it will be broadcast on that you can receive then you are in business.

I just did a little checking to see if there was anyone carrying it online and it appears that WSMonline.com will be carrying the race. Don't hold me to it but that is what their website says. Check it out. You can listen to the price of heffers & hogs per pound if you catch it at the right time !!!

If you e-mail them I bet that they'll give you some insight as to how you can hear the races.

Also, I thought the EuroSports Channel was going to televise some NASCAR races?

I found these stations by trial and error, am not sure if the races will be covered but there is a good chance.

I would dearly love to see the 500, Setanta NASN covered NASCARlast season, but it doesn't look as though they are bothered this time.
Last year Eurosport covered the Busch series on the Saturdays, which I loved, nothing scheduled as yet

I just heard a great quote about the NASCAR off season... "it went faster than a forty car draft at Talladega". I love NASCAR... would America let me in maybe. my missus won't want to live in USA but I'd be there in a heartbeat, I'd buy an RV and follow the NASCAR season for sure.

I love Le Mans I love the Indy 500 I love the Monaco Grand Prix... but the Daytona 500 is awesome, it is without doubt the song of motor sport.

I hope to take part with you all on this forum, I enjoy your comments and I am learning so much about the series, on youtube I saw for the first time that last lap all thosde years ago between Allison and Yarborough, blinkin eck!! that was fantastic, and that crash Richard Petty had along the fence made me dizzy. I love it.

Welcome to GTG mozart! Glad you found station that will broadcast the race. It is so cool to have people from the other side of the planet join us. Oh, and don't be too impressed with Kurt Busch, he has had his foolish moments in Nascar. I think his car owner Roger Penske bought him a good acting coach, because he has been so nicey nice lately. But, he DOES know how to wheel a race car as he proved by winning a Championship.
Being a Dodge fan, I do hope he does well this year. Again, welcome to the forum!

Ha ha, I love this, c'mon guys you have gotta tell me more. I have Tony Stewarts Biography coming soon so I'm looking forward to that. Any stories about NASCAR would be great, I would love to hear about any RV people who have blogs telling of their NASCAR experiences too. I would dearly love an RV and travel Europe and the USA with the wife and kids... our children are home educated so school don't come into it. Finance is the big thing... and I saw Oprah the other day and I got my order in for some of that fortune out there in the 'thin air'!!!

No intent to sway mozart from being a fan of the elder Busch. Actually, I kinda like him myself, just some of the things he has done in the past have been a bit questionable. Like I said above, he is one of the best pure racers out there given the right car.
