the car of tommorow

i dont know what to think of the car of tommorow but ive heard the restricted plate races wont be in a pack any more due to the spoiler and smaller restricter plates

There is a thread here about the COT already I'm sure, but I think the COT will not affect the plate races.

As long as they are plating the cars they will be bunched up. The front dam and spoiler will only improve handling. I hope they make a bigger hole in the air and that we will be able to see some good old fashion drafting without the 'bump'.

I don't mind the COT. Many think the cars will be too much alike, but if you ask me they are far from stock now anyway. May as well make them safer with the taller roof and whatnot. As long as the racing don't suffer they can all drive around in Oscar Mayer Weiner cars!

I miss the old days with cars you could tell apart. I'll miss my Chevys running on the tracks and hope that we will be able to tell whos driving at a glance. (I guess that the number on the car will help.) But I will really miss my Chevys.

I remember when a '57 Chevy and a '57 Ford were two totally different looking cars. Now they all try to look like BMW's or something along that line.
