i am not so sure it was the fault of the spotter, I think Mikey has a case of hard feelings toward DEI |

| Re: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Fans Thread I agree, and it's too bad because they put him on the map. Until he was at DEI, he was a mid-packer at best his entire career. With DEIs plate program, he got recognition and a couple of wins. Not to mention he stole their sponser in Napa. If I remember correctly, Earnhardt Sr originally got Napa for his Craftsman truck team driven by Ron Hornaday, and they eventually moved to his Cup team.

Loved Sr., followed Jr. through the ranks of Busch. This may be off topic, but I'm curious ... Remember when Jr.'s car caught fire (I don't remember where it was) and he seemed to climb out of the car himself, but asked, "Who pulled me out?" I have a video of the event, and it does appear that someone "lifted" him out of the car. Trust me, the last thing I want to do is get into a debate about the afterlife and/or spirituality, but Jr. stated that "someone" got him out of that car. I don't know. I'm just curious what others think. I'm just nuts about Jr. and think this string will be quite popular.

I really don't want to get into my spiritual beliefs, but I do believe someone got Jr out of that car.

As mentioned, I have the video from one of the news shows. I think it was 20/20 or Dateline. A friend taped it for me. I played it in slow motion time and time again, and there's something spooky about it. Even during the interview, Jr. admitted that it "sounds crazy, but I know what I experienced, and don't care what people say." I'm paraphrasing, but that's pretty close to what he said. Thanks for your input. I don't want to focus on history. I just thought this was an interesting topic. I also found it eerie when Jr. finished 3rd in the points. While he was on stage in New York, the number 3 was displayed behind him. I suppose, perhaps, we look for symbolism. |

| Re: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Fans Thread Yes it was. I also thought it was kinda funny that he could have opened the door but instincts took over and out the window he went. |
