Please note this thread is for Tony Stewart fans to discuss their favorite driver through out the upcoming Nextel Cup season. It is intended for Tony Stewart fans only. All joking aside, Stewart's agressiveness is a great. He reminds me of a hockey goon, and I mean that in a good way. He's like an enforcer out there on the track. Something makes me think he's going to have a real good season in '07.

In time, Quality, in time... just doing a test run, to see how these things take off. Now back to the Stewart chat. Question for just the true-blue Stewart fans here: how many wins do you think he'll have in 2007? Can he take Daytona?

I think he's good for 7 wins including Daytona.

If the last 10 races were any indicator of what this year can bring, the # 20 will do well. I have issues with his attitude but I will openly admit that when he keeps his temper in check he is one of the best on the track. Like i wish for all of the drivers, I wish him a stellar season. One that I can enjoy watching.

Ok, I can't even believe I'm posting in an "I love Tony Stewart" thread. But I gotta tell ya, he can drive just about anything with wheels. The big reason I'd like to see him do well? Post race interviews. This guy has a sense of humor. Whether he's ticked off or trying to be PC, (which is a stretch for him, for sure,) he is darn funny. If he can keep a lid on his ego and his temper, I think he might kick some major booty this year. His downfall? He's buds with "Happy" and the hat wench.

Anyone have links to some Tony Stewart interviews, maybe you tube or otherwise.... what town is he from anyway. I like him he reminds me of a soccer player we had in England a few years back called Eric Cantona... Eric could be a bit of a poet at times, a sensitive soul but by heck he could hand out the aggression at times, and importantly he was a fantastic soccer player, don't know if Tony would take to being called a poet (what do you think?)....
As I said I like Tony Stewart and "life is far more interesting with him in it"...

Of course there isn't much point pussy footing around if you are trying to win a race in this series, it has to be the most competitive form of motor racing I have ever seen.

I like Tony, he is one of a few drivers that is a true down to the hart racer. In some ways he reminds me of Earnhardt Sr. he has a "I am going to win attitude or die trying" and that is what really counts in my book. The other thing I like about him is it don't mater if he is in first place or last he will drive just as hard and you can't ever count him out.

Well I hope this is his year for the "500" but if not I can see him winning a hand full of races this year.
I get alot of razzing from guys at work about Tony but I think they are just jealous their driver that drives the red beer car could win a championship...

This is great. I'm already on one Tony board. Another is super. I am and always will be a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan, but after his death I had trouble choosing a driver. I chose Tony. I love that guys attitude and he's one great racer, as he proved last night. I hope we're on our way for a fantastic year of racing.

Tony wins the Shootout. No surprise here. I'm an not a true fan in that I admire all drivers with real skill, not just Tony. He has attitude, yes, but I don't let it spoil the fact that he is a great, great driver. As I said about Gordon, the racing is better when Stewart is in the mix. He is exciting, to say the least. I think he's going to kick butt this year.
