But seriously Jeff needs to do good this year to silence all of the people saying his washed up
but i think he can do it if he has more luck because if you hadn't noticed every single car gordon raced in the chase was a top ten car but wrecks and mech problems ruined his year
but i see him getting no worse than 3rd this year!

I think Jeff did have more than his share of bad racing luck last year. However, as far as Letarte goes, being a long time fan of Gordon I will still take Letarte over Loomis any day. I think if there was ever a championship won IN SPITE OF a crew chief it would be the one Jeff won with Loomis.
All that being said, it was very frustrating to see Jeff start out with a top 10 car early in races and then lose the handle as happened many times last year. (Especially when stablemate Johnson and Knauseous would start out like excrement and wind up in the top 5 all the time.) I did see improvement in communication and adjustments made during the latter part of the year, and I think the Drive for Five will finally happen this year.

I'm satisfied with 12th considering he was 36th at one point in this race. If he wasn't caught up in that wreck coming to the line, he may have had a top 10. Oh well, still a good comeback from where they were.
