Greetings NASCAR fans. I finally found a message board that I can read that does not end up in a name calling mess. I am new here so I will just sit back a read for a while but I wanted to say hi.

Watching the ROLEX 24 got me all excited as it usually kicked off speedweeks, but here I am with nothing to watch this weekend except a few 1/2 updates on SPEED. I look forward to watching Montoya in the 500. I am not a F1 fan, but this guy is a racer and I have watched him from his rookie season in INDYCAR err .... CART .. err CHAMP err ... whatever it is.

Time to rifle through the blank tapes and see what I have from last seasons races to get my fix.

Welcome to our forum Lefturn!! We have a great time here!! Yeah, this board doesn't condone member name calling or bashing!! You can bash any driver, owner, car make, etc., we just don't allow anyone to bash each other. It has happened before, but it gets stopped pretty quickly thanks to everyone looking out for each other. Hope to see you join our race predictions thread, Daytona's thread has already been started. I keep a running list of all predictions and post the list, so nobody has to run back through all the posts to see if we have a winner!! Hope to hear lots more from you!!!!

Welcome Left this is the best forum in the world. Let me tell you don't sit back and wait jump in with both feet. We here at GTG don't mind other opinions actually we like them. Some of the other people here have changed the way I think of some things in NASCAR so don't wait come on in the water is fine

Welcome, Left. I hope you enjoy the conversations here. We go a bit in depth here and the opinions vary. NASCAR, in this forum, is kind of like the story of the three blind men trying to describe an elephant only by feel; to us NASCAR means different things.

IRT JPM: I originally thought that his desire to become a stock car driver was merely a whim. I figured that moving his wife from the French Riviera to Charlotte, and the 36-race, plus The Winston, schedule would be more than he wanted and after the Brickyard he'd gracefully bow out. After watching him, and listening to him in interviews, now I'm not so sure.

Unlike Lagasse and some others, JPM didn't come to NASCAR because of money. He has enough of that already. I think the kid is a no-s**t competitor!

I figure that a final standings finish in the top 15 this season could be considered a win for Ganassi.

Welcome Mr/Ms Turn. This is one of the very best 'first' posts I've ever seen. I think Juan is gonna really turn some heads and suprise alot of folks this year. Once the season gets in full swing, you'll find alot of great discussions here. And a whole lot of Gordon/Johnson bashing.

Hi Lefty .. Welcome to the very most popular forum on the GoTeamsGo site. Our NASCAR site is also one of the most if not the most popular site on the internet. As it was mentioned we do have tons of great discussions with a zero tolerance for name calling and bashing of other members. You can bash any driver/team you want.

Team yates did mention that we do have a weekly predictions contest that is open to everyone. It is actually pretty tough to pick the 1st & 2nd place drivers but we encourage you to give it a shot.

By the way Yatesy .. great to see you again and thanks for continuing to tally up the results for us again this year. I had this fear that I'd have to do it. Wouldn't have been very pretty.

I missed it Clutch. Sorry. John Paul is always a good interview, though. He interviews every bit as welll as he drives. If they have a replay, and I catch it, I'll let you know. Maybe Wilks caught it, I believe he has SIRIUS?
