The flight is about 12.5 hours
Now we are 21 hours ahead of PST and Daytona is 3 hours ahead of that.
I always find this confusing but am I able to watch the 500 before I leave "Live".

The question is, Clutch, which 19th are you talking about? If it is the 19th in Aukland, it'll be the 20th in Daytona, the day after the race. If it is the 19th in LA, then you might catch about half the race after you collect your bags (providing the airlines and TSA, in their infinate wisdom, having sent them to Hamburg, by mistake.
I think I have that right, but it's been ages since I've crosses the Int'l Date Line. However, I believe that if you travel west you lose a day, but if you travel east you gain. I believe that I have that right?
Now I'm confused.
