Re: Harvick Calls Teresa Earnhardt A Deadbeat Owner

Maybe Teresa just realizes that her strong point of the company is in the behind the scene operations and business dealings. What would be the point of her hanging around the garage if she's not a mechanic. Obviously Childress, etc. were mechanics and built cars. If she is a good business woman she has hired the people she can depend on to be the mechanical brains. She probably knows as much about cars as George Steinbreiner knows about baseball or Dan Snyder knows about football.

Wardfan, I take it that you don't know that Teresa was raised up in racing (maybe you do)? Her father, her uncle and 2 cousins raced (who are they?). Also, DE gave Teresa credit for her business sense and having all they had and built.

Yea I know that. That's why she knows the "business" and is leaving the "turning wrenches" to others IMO.

Harvick is walking on thin ice anyway. He ha repetedly shown that driving in the Bush Series takes away from his responsibility and focus to Childress as an owner and to Nextel Cup. The question is who will pull him from Nextel, Childress or NASCAR?

Her uncle is Tommy Houston, isn't he?

Re: Harvick Calls Teresa Earnhardt A Deadbeat Owner

OK. here is yet another hair-brained idea as to why Kevie-Baby and Jeffy-Pooh are so vocal in their assessment of the ongoing Junior/Evil Step Mother soap opera:

If Junior is in a proper frame of mind, his moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter is aligned with Mars, and he isn't distracted by things other than racing, he is a threat for a high finish in the Playoff. Ergo, IF his competitors are able to stir the pot a bit, create some hate and discontent within the world of DEI, maybe Earnhardt Minor will be one less competitor to worry about in the final ten weeks?

Just another angle to think about...

Oh yeah, I think Harvick is a LOUD MOUTHED PUNK and has been since he broke into the Cup ranks.
Yelk, my Man... we have found two areas of common ground which we can whole-heartedly agree upon.

Dunno the cousins but Daddy was Hal Houston and Uncle was Tommy Houston.

ThatsRacin.com | 01/24/2007 | Dale Earnhardt Jr. steps up, defends his stepmother

Another reason Harvick should have kept his nose out DEI's business. He didn't know why Teresa wasn't there. The fact that she could have been, as Dale said, taking care of things important to the family makes Harvick look like even more of an insensitive jacka$$. Dale hadn't been complaining that Tereasa wasn't there. He knew what was going on. Harvick didn't. I've always said, make sure you know what you're talking about before you open you mouth.

It would be nice if some of our great media people would call him out on his statements. Do you think any of the village idiots have the gusto to do it ?

You bring up a good point Bob, but do you really think KH is smart enough to come up with that idea. also I don't if jeffie is smart enough ether. That sounds like something DW or Rusty could come up with.

Oh certainly LSC. No way one of the Fox guys would pass up an opportunity to stir things up between the competitors. I would make some sort of wager that it comes from the Hollywood Hotel.

Those two...? Maybe Jeffie-Pooh but not Kevie. However, I bet you that both Richard and The Felon are both devious enough to try something like that. (I hate to even mention Richard Childress in the same sentence. Sorry Richard, but getting a leg up on the competition IS the name of the game)

Re: Harvick Calls Teresa Earnhardt A Deadbeat Owner

no not drinking, yes just messin with you guys.
oh and KH feel into cup not broke in.

but still right or wrong, I like a driver who speaks his mind, would you rather him be a walking commercail like some other fan favorite.
and I don't think hes on thin ice at RCR,RC doesn't clip his drivers wings like that.

remember when skinner almost took out dale sr., at I think texas.
RCR said they're big boys they'll sort it out.
