Re: Whats Your Favorite Tracks So far I like the track in Mexico that was just run last Saturday. Hermanos Rodriquez. I think that the road race is cool because it weeds out the rest of the field but still the driver in the lead has to keep the pedal to the metal because anything can happen. He also has to keep his concentration because the turns are not as automatic.

Re: Whats Your Favorite Tracks Bristol has to be the most fun to watch from the stands. You can see everything from about anywhere and there is always action someplace! Anything can happen at anytime. The only downsides to Bristol are the number of laps run under caution (but you'd be there forever if hey didn't count) and the noie. Really they ought to call it the thunderdome! Next up is Charlotte. You can't beat it for the energy in the stands, awesome track view and you get the best of superspeedway seppeds combined with short track rubbin! Only downside there is long periods of green with little action in the first 1/3 or the race...then it gets FUN! Pocono...yikes! Can't get in the place. can't get out of the place and unless you're on the top three rows you can't se anything but the pits. You can have that place! The Brickyard...not the best viewing track but you have to go at least once! Same with Daytona. On TV... give me Daytona and Dega, The Winston (still call it that) and Bristol.

Re: Whats Your Favorite Tracks I'm strickly talking TV here, 'cause I've never attended a race... Bristol Daytona Talladega Sears Point (aka infineon) Watkins Glen Pheonix (because of the dogleg on the backstretch) Darlington (tires I don't like most of the 1 1/2 mile tracks, which is unfortunate since they make up >50% of the season. I especially don't like the fact that California comes after the 500. I've tried to get my friends to watch NASCAR, and after they see the always exciting 500, they're into it... but then comes CA.... snooze. CA and MI are about the most dull races of the season. I think any new fans NASCAR gains after the 500 are turned off after watching the CA race. It should be Daytona, then one of the other tracks from above. -jammin

My Favorite track is Richmond International Raceway. The reason why I like Richmond International Raceway is because I work their. My other favorite tracks are Daytona and Lowe's motor speedway. Last edited by drnascar48 : 03-14-2006 at 08:43 AM.

Re: Whats Your Favorite Tracks Tin Can My favorate track is Bristol. The excitement and the roar of the engines is unbelievable and I love the short tracks anyway. Last edited by rmjvol : 03-16-2006 at 03:03 PM. Reason: removed advertising

Re: Whats Your Favorite Tracks It may have been built to Nascar specs, but I guarantee it wont be for Cup cars being a half mile dirt track. There are a lot tracks that are Nascar sanctioned, but just run weekly shows, which is what I am sure this track is. I belonged to Nascar for years while pitting for my friends Modified. Nice looking facility though! As far as favorite tracks go, I also favor the short tracks, like Bristol and Martinsville. My absolute favorite is probably Richmond under the lights with Bristol a close second. I also like the road courses though, and been to Sears Point (Infinion) several times. Most boring tracks to me are Michigan and California.
