A favor, Simon...How about putting all the bio's on ONE post, not an individual post for each bio? I may be the only one but all of the pictures of the cars seems to clutter up the forum a bit.

i agree i should have posted the car pics all together as i did so many at one time

with the bio's i feel it will be much different........i dont think i would ever do more then one or two a day and in a day or two at the most the would probably be pushed to the next page....so no clutter

then this thread would remain so any racing bio could be easily found

if in a year someone wants to know about Fireball Roberts, the bio i posted could be 12 pages gone.........but with this thread it can be found in a snap (or a click)

so i promise.........seperate threads.....but no clutter

Hey guys, just wanted to offer a little insight here.

I realize that adding all those seperate paint scheme threads all at once kind of flooded the forum temporarily but, in the long run, there's 2 main advantages of doing it that way.

1st, seperate threads actually help us quite a bit in Search Engines like Google. Almost 100% of our current members have come here because they found us on Google or some other S.E. So seperate threads will help us get more new members & help us grow into a more active community. More info here:

2nd, seperate threads (with descriptive titles) will make the info easier for people to find in the future. Our internal search option (see "Search" near the top of this page, near the middle) gives more weight to words in the thread title. Plus the thread titles are what's displayed when you do a search there.

Whether we're talking about paint schemes or driver bios, the threads will only be on the front page of the forum for a short period after they're created. In a day or so, they'll get pushed out of the way as we chat about other topics.

Thanks for the input and we'll try to not drop a ton of threads like that in such a short period of time.
