In particular kids and then maybe some organizations that deal with safety issues.
But you have to think LSC, that $85,000 is money they would have gotten anyway because of how or what they did in the race. It doesnt make any difference where it comes from. And Q, Bob, if you cant reach an agreement, a little bit of the ol' corn liquor will do the trick.

Been there, done that... Woke up in the morning and my hair hurt and my teeth itched. I looked for the clothes I wore home the night before and there weren't any.

As far as imbibing in "shine," thank you but I think I'll pass. I'd rather drink T-Bird, Night Train or Mad Dog 20/20. You know...something a sommelier would look at the bottom of the bottle and remark, "Ah, Tuesday. That was an excellent vintage!"

Stop putting logical answers to my questions !! This is one of the joys I get from these forums. You can have one thought but when someone comes at it from a different angle it can make you look at it differently.

Now at the same time if the money (FINES) wasn't in the pool to be given out then maybe what the received would be less ?????

Re: Distribution of Nascar Penalty Fines

Why even worry about fines? The money don't mean nothing to the Owners, drivers, teams,or sponsors. If they want to penalize them take points and/or wins. that would change how they set up the cars and raced on the track. As for what they do collect should go to charities.
