Does it really matter when drivers are just being thrown in the car when showing any sign of talent of being the next(it pains me to say this) Jeff Gordon? The cup lite series means nothing when they just throw a young kid in the car and let them loose on the track.

Yeah, plus as we all know Jr is a marketing factor just like David Beckham in Football (Soccer) and I'd like to see Goodwrench and Budweiser both sponsoring Dale Jr.

I wouldn't mind seeing them both sponsoring jr. but think what the car would look like. Black and red not bad hu!

First of all Dale is no longer a kid. He is a grown man who, I believe, is humble and loyal to those he trusts. He has an obligation to his own success before that of Theresa or DEI as a whole. As you say she got the bigger share but, she cant drive the car and unfortunately for Dale, she cant seem to organize a crew to build one for him either.

I think the reason we dont want to see him leave is because we can imagine what the organization might have been like had things been different. Theresa is looking out for her own well being as well. But she should be in it to win it or get out and let Jr take over.

maybe but we have seen how owner/driver teams have worked out in the past. most of the time not to good

Ok well there has been a lot of rumors and stuff flying around about Dale Earnhardt Junior and its kinda interesting to see all of it. But for those of you who say that he'll join the teams like Hendrick, Roush, Yates your WRONG there is only one other team that Earnhardt Junior will look to and that Richard Childress Racing. And i of all people would hate to see JUNIOR go to HENDRICK cause well him and Gordon dont get a long but i think in 2008 well see JUNIOR stay with DEI or at least I hope so anyway!!!

I don't see Jr. ever going to Hendrick or any other team along those lines other than maybe RCR. BUT .... if he did join Hendricks you can bet that they would be best of friends. That's all part of the contract. "You gotta be friends".

I agree that if Jr joined Hendrick they'll be best friends, their all matured and the past grudge can be gone.

I think Jr. will either partner with John menard and buy Treasa out of DEI,or he will going to RCR with Bud. you may see him in a #3 bud car, but I would think he'd buy the #8 from DEI. Jr. and Bud are tight and prefect for each other, I don't see goodwrench getting in there.
