| Best way to get to Talladega Hey everyone, I'm planning a trip to do to one of the races at Talladega next year. What is the best way to approach the track from the north in terms of traffic, parking, etc? Any advice is greatly appreciated. |

I84 W >I81 south> Exit 80 I77 south toward Charlotte> I85 south toward Atlanta> I20 west toward Birmingham> Highway 77 south (I think it's exit 162 but I might be off an exit)>1 mile south to Speedway Blvd Turn Left> follow Speedway Blvd to main gate. DO NOT MISS the Unocal Museum. It's argueably the best NASCAR museum in the country. I second Scotty's advice...LEAVE EARLY and keep your sense of humor. Hope this helps.

| Re: Best way to get to Talladega My advice is when the race is over plan on being in the parking lot for a while ... possibly longer than what it took to run the race, but don't leave early. Lots of good action happens at the very end in Talladega. |

| Re: Best way to get to Talladega It depends on whether or not you like who is in the front. My friends and I left with 22 laps remaining back in April. Best decision we made cause we parked on the other side of the road from the track. We got out of there and gone. LSC is very right about waitin forever after the race... we screwed up the day of the Busch race and parked by the stands.... 3 hours in the parking lot, SUCKED.
