2007 Predictions

In the interest of starting some lively discussion our very own quiz master Bob Tanner has suggested that we re-fire the thread for discussion of the 2007 season even before it gets off the ground. In an attempt to lay out a format here I will suggest that everyone try to pick the 10 drivers you think will be in the chase and some reasoning why. If you feel tha there will be some spoilers out there then add them into the mix and explain what effect they will have either on the top 10 or why they might have an effect on a team/driver that might have otherwise made it to the chase. As always opinions are what this is about and the rule is that even if you disagree that is OK but no harassment of fellow posters.

The link above is what the infamous Bob feels is the best guess scenerio. What and why is now up to you. Winners will know who they are at the end of the '07 season and will have winter time bragging rights.

1: Johnson again, a polished act

2: Stewart....always a threat

3:Jeff Gordon....back to his old self

4: Kenseth.....Mr Consistency

5: Biffle....will start like he ended

6: Bobby Labonte......I've waited quite a while for this!!

7: Khane....not sure that he deserves it after some of his moves in 06

8: Vickers

9: Hamlin....not just a flash in the pan

10: Rudd!!!!

11: Earnhardt Jr

1. Gordon- new baby will send him back to old days
2. Stewart- will race hard to make up for last season
3. Johnson- always does good but don't think he can repeat
4. Dale Jr.- wants a championship really badly
5. Khane- will win many races again
6. Biffle- back to the old days
7. Hamlin- still make the chase but not as good as 06
8. Kenseth- always does good (like Johnson) but not as good as 06
9. Mears- will finally have good enough equipment
10.Burton- definatly back to old self
