WOW! This is a great accomplishment for this site. It is only 6 mos. old and doing really well. I even saw someone from the UK had signed up! This place will only get bigger and better!

Only 6 months old? I didn't know I was hanging out with a bunch of rookies. No wonder I didn't get a yellow stripe. All you guys sounded like old pro's. Now I won't be to shy to ask dumb questions

Been out for a few days, I see that we have some more new members!!!!! Welcome to our forum, Bull, OldTimeRadioAddict, Cray, TSaylorL, DEI MIDWEST, hope you all enjoy your stay with us!!!! It is alot of fun, we have a race predictions thread every week where we pick for 1st and 2nd place, we have had several people pick correctly for 1st only, and TN Gal was the only one to correctly pick 1st and 2nd at Michigan. This is a really great forum. I found it on a google search and I'm glad I did. I can get my NASCAR fix during the week.

I thought I'd bring this thread back to the front, and let me tell you, it was buried deep down under page after page, I had a hard time trying to pull it out!! But after alot of pushing, pulling, and restacking I finally got it.
I started this thread on 3/4/06, approximately 3 weeks after the birth of GTG.com. I was asked to be a greeter, I know, I know, I've been doing a poor job of greeting everyone, but we have grown so much, it has been extremely tough to keep up with everyone. Those of us who have been here since the beginning have seen alot of accomplishments throughout the pages. There's been alot of great discussions and some not so good discussions, we've even managed to get a few threads locked!! All in all, without the "right" people in place as moderators and administration, we would be just some other sports forum.

WELCOME TO ALL OUR NEWER MEMBERS HAVE NEVER GOT A PM OR WELCOME POST FROM ME, MY DEEPEST APOLOGIES!!!!

A couple of days ago we broke the then current record twice. The previous record was 401 and then within minutes it went from 401 to 426 and then to 472.
