NASCAR driver and team owner Bobby Hamilton said Wednesday his doctors say there are still cancer cells on the right side of his neck and that he is continuing treatments.


Hamilton, 49, said in August his doctors were optimistic about test results after extensive chemotherapy and radiation.


"Cancer is an ongoing battle," Hamilton said. "Once you are diagnosed you always live with the thought of the disease in your body. It is the worst thing you could ever imagine."

Good to hear he is doing better. Thanks Simple. I watched him dominate at Kentucky one time. I hated to see him have to step out of his truck.

I saw him in an interview this past season and he had/has the greatest of hopes that he'll get back into some real racing. Hurry back Bobby. We'll all be waiting.
