I would watch with greater interest because more of the work would fall upon the team versus letting some tinfoil, cookie cutter , spec car try and even the field out. This would be an interesting poll question. Return to "stock" cars or the COT.

Local track racing isn't your standard showroom car anymore. I'm waaaaayyy up in the great northeast and the track here runs the same body types as the big boys.

Re: Car of Tomorrow

speaking of local tracks, I think the best track I ever drove it was Linclon in Handover PA. now I haven't been there in a few years but when I stopped racing you would have 35+ cars show up for the thundercar class(street stock), I had under 2000 bucks in my car and ran top 5 .

four wide going in to the turn for the lead was not uncommom.

and then you had the super spints pulling the wheels up the whole straightaways

go freddie go #12 apple chevrolet, I need to make a trip back this year!

OK. back to the future

LSC9901 - you were saying about this quote over in the Harvick thread, I found it for you! There are actually 2 threads about the car of tomorrow, this 1 and a newer 1 started by bevo. This one I found on page 2 of the forum pages started by pete b.

Re: NASCAR Car of Tomorrow

There were two threads on the Car of Tomorrow which addressed the same thing. I have merged those two. Hope that makes it a little easier to follow.
