He didn't do anything most of the others have not done, so what is the big deal? And by the way, we may be "hillbillys", but we certainly are not stupid.

Gordon is and always has been a spoiled brat. Even going back to his Quarter Midget days. His stepfather always put him in the best equipment, it just carried on into sprinters, midgets, then finally Cup. Yes, he is a good driver. Is he the best? Absolutely not! He has no ability to overcome an ill-handling car. The late Dale Earnhardt could drive the wheels off it, even when it handled poorly. Jeff just whines and goes backwards and points blame. Look at the year after Evernham left, he was a midpacker most of the season. If he isnt in top shelf equipment, he is ordinary......IMHO.

As for the question of liking him or not. A definate NO, I can't stand him! But, if it's any consolation, I like the driver of the 48 car even less.

One of the reasons we love to hate him is he is a constant winner but he isn't a redneck. I say that with the utmost respect since the deep south is where the roots of NASCAR began. We all want to see our driver win and when the same team wins all the time we learn to hate that team/driver and everything about them.

Yes he is a crybaby but then again there are not to many that aren't anymore.

Jeffs the best driver in NASCAR and no one will ever topple that. Jeff has dominated this sport since 1995 and wont stop till he retires. Im not a Junior fan cause I have my own opinions and dont jump on BANDWAGONS. Lets win at M-town.

Tony has also been in Cup half as long as Wonder Boy. Gordon is just another top contender these days. Without Evernham keeping that car better than everyone elses, he will be lucky to get one more Championship.........which I hope never comes.
