Well, now that Daytona's history, its time to turn our attention to the second race on the Nextel Cup circuit this year, the Auto Club 500 at California Speedway. Who does everyone think will win this time out? Jimmie Johnson, fresh off his win last week, has to be a favorite, as does last year's winner Greg Biffle. Thoughts?

I read today they aren't expecting a sellout. Blame it on the race being in CA. Wrong it's because this is one of the most boring tracks / races they run all year. Did he just say that? No rubbin, little racing, just log laps watching the fuel gauge. Makes it a perfect track for a Roush team or any of the Hendrick guys. I love that they moved this to the week after Daytona. By the time speedweeks are over my wife's ready to sign the divorce papers. CA allows me to say look honey the race is on but how 'bout we go shopping? This is your day.

Well, I said in another thread that it was basically Biffle's race to lose, and that's exactly what happened. Was leading by as much as 13 seconds at one point, blew a cylinder in his engine on lap 225, and that was all she wrote.

Still, great win for Kenseth. He deserves it.
