I know this time of year drags by for some reason. Football is a good fill in till Daytona, but still the time drags to me. Im a McMurray fan and I just hope he still has a ride in 07. Well I am done hearing about Jimmy Johnson this season. A good buddy of mine is a 48 fan and he just wont shut up.

Keep reading Jayski and the news links he has. That will be more than enough fodder for us to debate about.

Right now I'm working on a prediction on which teams will make the playyoffs next season and who won't. I'll try and write it before I leave on vacation.

IRT Jamie. I was a Jamie fan since he drove for Willaims in BGN. However, I was really disappointed in him when he crawfished out of his contract with Ganassi. I think it was a big mistake on two fronts.
(a) He will go the way of other former Roush drivers (Musgrave, Dallenbach and Benson, to name three). Jack won't put forth the effort it would take to make Jamie a consistant performer.
(b) I find people who make committments then weasel out of them, on a whim, to be unethical and generally suspect in character. Whener anyone shows a lack of committment, I almost always lose a great deal of respect for them. Kurt Busch doing so surprised me not, but I thought Jamie had more class than that.

Well, if you look at it on the postitive side... this is one sport with a relatively short waiting period between the end of one season and the beginning of the next. So that's ONLY 3 months of waiting.

I admit I was experiencing some post-cup depression though. Ah well, guess I can spend that time doing other things, like working on my own car, that type of thing.

For me its the most boring time of the year! I hate football, just could never get into it. 80 more days till the Daytona 500! Also I'm addicted to the show Lost but I have to wait till Feb. for the new episodes-oh what to do! LOL!

For me I like the MLB Hot Stove season. For those of you that don't get into other sports I have no idea what you are going to do. It could be worse, you could get into the IRL instead and be without your racing even longer. By the way, RC drove a Fusion around some track somewhere, details are sketchy sorry, jayski has pics of it though.
