Interesting bit about Ford 400 coverage

Race and Commercial Breakdown of the Ford 400:
Total number of commercials: 151
Total number of companies or entities advertised: 76
Total number of brief promos of products/services during the race broadcast: 25
Restarts missed due to being away at commercial: 0
Start time to record race/commercial periods: 2:50pm/et
End time to record race/commercial periods: 6:31pm/et
Total minutes: 221
Minutes of race broadcast: 147
Minutes of commercials: 74

Not as bad as I thought. Im especially suprised that no restarts were missed.

Re: Interesting bit about Ford 400 coverage

First off thanks for the info. Next .. where did you find it or was that your homework assignment ? As for restarts that is what tape delay is all about. I don't listen to MRN (can't stand them) but if anyone listened to the race there and watched it on TV there might be the chance to dispute the missed restarts. Lastly it doesn't seem possible that we actually got to see 147 minutes of racing. It always seems to be the other way around.

Anyway thanks again for the info. Now just bring on the 500 !!!
