Would Ross actually expel one of us for stating an opinion, based on observation or verifiable fact?

I doubt if any of you have anywhere near the amount of distaint for Johnson as I harbor for the convicted felon and generally unethical, rule-breaking car owner, Rick Hendrick. The same for those two blights on the world of NASCAR personalities, DW (loud-mouthed, self-absorbed, egomanical and possibily verbose far beyond his mental abilities) and Larry McReynolds ( great past crew chief but his butchering of the English language and his being a toady to the afore-mentioned DW, could warrant a court order keeping him at least 50 feet from any live microphone). I'm still here?

So... Go on, Q88... tell us what you think. Heck, it might give up something to yack about, or congratulate you on. (I'm betting on the latter)

It's not so much as what I think as to how I post it... I mean yes Johnson is one of the biggest jacka$$es in Na$car and drives for Rick(the felon) Hendrick who partners with that a$$hole Jeff(It's OK for me to do it to you but don't you dare do it to me, whinya$$) Gordon. I also can't stand the WWF mentality by those commercial obsessed ID10t's at NBC, with Wally (wish I had been a contender) Dallenbach and his Joker of partner who needs a new hairdo Weber. Not to mention NBC(No Broadcasting Creativity) couldn't catch a restart if they tried. Does this satisfy the house?

I like it! A great big "Salute!" on the drama queen (emphasis on 'queen?') Bill Weber. If ESPN were a bus line, I'd be singing, 'Thank God and Greyhound he's gone."

NBC..No Broadcasting Creativity... I REALLY like that one! But watch it when NBC actually makes an attempt at creativity... You get winners like: Heroes, fifteen different version of Law & Order, Friday Night Lights and that testimony to greed, Deal or No Deal, with Mr Agoraphobic himself, Howie Mandel.

Ooops!!! Open mouth, insert foot, as it were.I didn't mean to offend; just commenting on some shows which I, personally, don't find entertaining. OTOH, NBC gives us "My Name is Earl,"(almost always funny) "Scrubs," (Sometimes funny, sometimes not) and Law & Order was outstanding when Jerry Orbach was still alive. I remember his replacement (Dennis Farina I think his name is) from a show he did around '93-'94 which I didn't care for. Fred Thompson is always outstanding.

When you talk about the networks you can just give up the idea that they might care about us the consumer. It is all about the advertising dollar. If they make you happy that is an extra benefit. If they make you upset ..... Oh well.

So when you start talking about the worlds best announcers then you are creating an issue. Wally, Mr. "Xtree" Big Mac, DW (DimWit), Bill "Weeeble" Weber and the rest of the village idiots ... what a crew. No wonder the outside world thinks we are all a bunch of Red Necks.

Most of the best shows on TV aren't even on the major networks.

Just my opinion.
