Since everybody doesn't agree on whether they like the outcome or not, this thread is to congratulate Jimmie Johnson.

In spite of his crooked owner and his rather clumsy [at cheating] crew chief, Jimmy did a really good job last season and earned his championship. I'm happy for him. He still impresses he with his talent and his background.

With the season still about 7 weeks away me thinks this thread will remain open until then. At that point we'll look at closing both of the Jimmy threads.

It would be interesting to see how JJ would do with a different team. One that plays by the rules .... but wait. None of them do.

You are absolutely right, none of them do. But as Bob said, Chad is "clumsy". Chad just isn't very good at cheating.

Anyhow what a great result for an outstanding driver and team. He really deserves the championship and I dont believe for one second that it is tainted at all by the Knausing incident.
