I was listening to a radio show this evening (Racing Country USA ... I think) and Jimmy was on and stated that he would be driving in 14 races next year. He wouldn't give any other info as to the owner or sponsor. Seemed excited about the COT.

Jimmy is pretty high on his talent. I feel that "he feels" that the COT will put it back in the drviers hands, where "he feels" he can still compete. Maybe he can, but I doubt it. Never cared for him as a driver, always an accident waiting to happen.

Welcome JW to GTG. I will assume that when you said that Jimmy is pretty high on his talent you mean he feels he is talented. I'm glad someone feels he has talent. He didn't get the name Mr. Excitment for nothing !!!

I heard awhile back that Jimmy was going to run in '07. I think it was in Doug George's CJM #72. With any luck I'd say he'll make one out of every seven races he attempts. He'll join the ranks of Derik Cope, Chad Chaffin, Hermie Sadler and Morgan Shephard. Whether you like Jimmy or no, it's a sad way to end a career, IMNSVHO.

His "RACING" career ended long ago. He attempted a career in broadcasting but that was a complete failure.
