Hello NASCAR fans. I REALLY think a lot of you may be interested in this. My daughter won a 2007 Monte Carlo SS LOWES #48 decal car. Jimmie Johnson signed it in person on the hood. It is brand new and we have it on Ebay now.

Congratulations! I'm sure she loves the car but if she loves it, why is she so willing to part with it?

Also, from another perspective: Lowes pays Hendrick an astronomical amount of money to advertise their Lowes' logo on their race cars. However, the buyer of your daughter's car gets to drive around advertising Lowes for free? Actually I guess that they get to pay $20K for the privilege of promoting Lowes? Of course the same goes for anyone who spends their hard earned money on Home Depot, Bud, Dewalt, etc., etc shirts, coats, hats, etc., etc. stuff.

Somehow, in my own sad little mind, something is very, very wrong with THAT picture.

That being said, I sincerely hope someone buys your daughter's car and I hope they enjoy it as much as she'll enjoy the profit. It's free enterprise and that's one of the things which make this country so great.

just to be clear, I wasn't bashing.

I was just ribbing the fact that stockcar aren't in anyway stock.

when you look at a street car with the same decals, it should look simular to the racecar. but it really looks kinda funny.

Do you know, a nice set of black rims with yellow letter tires would really set the car off.

That would be pretty darn cool. Maybe the buyer will do change the rims and tires. I wish my daughter would just give me the car . I think it rocks too.
