Who's going to win the Raybestos Rookie of the Year award this year? I'm rooting for Denny Hamlin. I was really impressed by his win at the Budweiser Shootout this time, and I'll bet the voters were too. On the other hand, he's up against great rookies like Reed Sorenson and Clint Bowyer, not to mention several other guys. All these drivers are good enough to make the vets sit up and take notice. Who are you rooting for?

I was just messin around looking at past threads that came before I joined goteamsgo and I noticed this one. I would have to say I am pullin for Hamlin. He impressed me in the Bud Shootout. He really impressed me after his 2 victories at Pocono. What does everyone else think?

i like denny but i have raced against bowyer before so i want him to win it

When he won the bud shootout I was skeptical because I thought alot of it was due to Tony Stewart setting him up and letting him get the win. I figured this was so Tony could use his team mate if it came down to the wire for the 500. He was using him to see how he would stand up to the pressure for the 500 and if he could run out front so if need be Stewart would somehow be able to make use of him as his team mate. But as we have seen in the races since, this boy Hamlin is the real deal and is showing the bud race was the real deal
