i havn't been on these forums very long and i wanted to know how many of you post in the off season
if so what do you post about?

We weren't here for last off season. Our forum just started in February 2006 so can't say for sure what we'll do after the season is over.

But I'm betting that the NA$CAR organization will be making sure that they stay in the news. There's always something to chat about.

And we might even try to come up with some extra reasons for fans to come chat here. Maybe a contest or some kind of game or something... I'm open to suggestions.

So don't worry, you won't be the only one here, I promise

It will be an interesting off season for the NASCAR Forum. We will be no different than any other major sport. They all have off seasons and I'm sure their respective forums will/have survived. Keep in mind that we are only off for about 90 days. As I noted in an earlier post this off season should be interesting with the fact that Toyota will be coming on board and the COT will happen next season. Yes there will be plenty to talk about plus we have the trivia thread which is always ready and willing to test your brain power.

And if you check the Rodeo-PBR thread it was started durning the recess. We are now starting to see more activity. 24 I'll stop by the 15th and say Hi to you the PBR will be going strong I think, haven't checked the scheldule yet.

I Would imagine if there is no news to talk about, this place would be out of control. There are some strange conversatsions as it is, and we're in the middle of a title chase. And I agree with you Q. Grumble.

This forum is relatively new so it has no off-season history. However, what I have seen in other forums is that the activity subsides significantly. A lot of the driver fans disappear until around the first of Feb, when their "heros" begin to get some press coverage. I would assume that what you'll find mostly here in the off-season is a collection of hard-core actual race fans who just enjoy discussing stock car racing, of all stripes, and those of us who count the members here as friends and just plain enjoy each others verbal company.
