Joe Nemecheck crashes him, McMurrauy nukes his rear bumper, the car is a chunk of metal and he still finishes in 6th place??

Good Job Jeff and the 24 team, every week we start to see more and more of Jeffs old dominant ways. His car was awesome all day.

Two things
1. They were all behind Jeff cause Jeff passed them all in the green flag run before that
2. The fact that he was competitve enough to race them is enough to put a smile on my face.

Yeah, I know.
If Joe never forgot how to drive there, Jeff would have pulled a last lap pass on Tony, it would have been SO thrilling. Oh well, off to Texas.

Well actually Tony cut a 3 second lead there before Jeff got hit, Tony was gonna blow by Jeff regardless. But Jeffs car was awesome anyways.

the first time jeff passed tony it was because lapped cars slowed tony down 5 seconds
the same thing was happening to jeff

Jeff had a GREAT car until Nemecheck put him in the wall. But still, to wreck 2 times and finish 6th shows Jeff's great talent.

Well, if you look at 2006, Jeff Gordon has performed, but the finishes don't show it because he has been wrecked by someone. Jeff should have 3-4 wins, maybe even more if someone didn't wreck him. Jeff would be in contention for the championship if he hasn't gotten wrecked so many times. Jeff Gordon is indeed back, but the finishes don't show for it because he has been wrecked by people. At this pace, Jeff should get atleast 6-7 championships if someone dosen't wreck him every race.

if you look at each of his 7 chase races he had a top five car
but someone always has to wreck him
except at talladega you can't complain cause it has to happen to someone

if i was told before a race that a HMS car was going to blow up i'd immedialty know its Jeff, I mean to lose a fuel pump???? When does that ever happen??? distubtor??? spring???? brakes?????

I don't think Jeff's car was better then Tony's otherwise he would have been able to win the race.


By the way if you add up total points the driver had this year how well is Gordon actually doing?
Jeff Gordon is really only 8th best so far this year.
