| Kenny Schrader OK fess up, how many people were expecting Kenny to do something to the 06 car. You know NBC was just drooling waiting for him to throw that part at someone. I got to admit at first I was thinking the same thing so I guess TV is starting to warp my mind to the WWF mindset. But I'm glad to say I snapped out of it in about 1/2 a second. I was saying no, Schrader is not going to do something stupid like that. And I'm glad to see that he showed he is a 100% class act by not doing so. And then he even goes to 200% when he admitted that he was doing the earlier bumping and said it was his fault by his getting into the 06 before that. |

I was happy to see him admit that. The 06 certainly wasn't very impressive as a driver today. I hope he gains enough experience in the next few races so that he doesn't turn into a Jimmy Spencer, AKA Mr. Excitement !!!! |

Hold that thought on "WWF Mindset." Hopefully, ESPN/ABC/Disney'll help bring a bit of good coverage back to NASCAR but I don't see it happening. This new breed of NA$CAR fan eats the WWF thing up. And NA$CAR is nothing if not a panderer to a demongraphic.

| Re: Kenny Schrader I was disappointed to see Schrader taken out of the race like that... but I'm glad he didn't throw that part. Its not just a 'WWF' mindset that has gripped society in a sensationalist attitude, its things like Jerry Springer and 'reality' TV that have led people to expect conflict at every turn. |

| Re: Kenny Schrader yes I was glad to see kenny running up front(top 10) I think if he was in that car full time next year(which might be a possibility) he will run much better. is fatback a team manager? they mentioned him but I though paul andews was the crew chief for kenny. inside micheal waltrip racing.....ummm I mean inside NNC racing should be good to tonite. I love some of kenny's beat around the bush comments. I am sure we'll hear how the 06 might accidently get booted next week

| Re: Kenny Schrader They should find the mold that Kenny came from and start making more of men like him, the sport would be much better off. A true racer who loves the game for what it's meant to be. |

of the excitement that happens behind what NASCAR wants us to see. There are 43 of the most highly competitive drivers who all want to win, there is bound to be frustration! Personally I miss the pit crew brawls, and the drivers who let their agressions out. If that is a WWF mentality that is what I have Years before I loved to watch Dale Sr.'s retalition. Jimmy Spencer cracks me up too. On the other hand I have a lot of respect for drivers like Schrader too. He was mad but checked up on the anger and that did show class. It takes all kinds, but in a field of 43 on a given day I would love to see more temper tantrums and action. Although as in watching a good wreck, I wouldn't want to see anyone seriously hurt. |
