here is an e-mail I sent to my friend, Monte Dutton, who writes for the Gastonia Gazette:

After watching Tony make a mockery of NA$CAR's Playoff and hearing that Kevin Harvick and his lovely wife got knocked on their butts by one of Riggs' crewmen, all is right with the world.
By the way, the next time you talk to the Harvick's (NASCAR's Ken and Barbie), could you please find out why she refuses to remove her ball cap during the playing of the National Anthem? If she had a complex coiffure and wore a hat appropriate for the races at Ascot, I could understand. But every week there she is, Kevie's got her in a choke hold and she has on her ball cap over a ponytail. Methinks it to be very poor form with a hint of no class and lacking in patriotism.
In an accompanying correspondence, I found out that he was unaware of Mrs. Harvick's
faux pas. I believe he might look into it. I'd like to see a few lines in one of his articles pointing out our loveable Mrs. H.
