Toyota All-Star Series on Speed NOW!

Anyone watching the Toyota All-Star Series at Irwindale, Ca on Speedchannel? This is racing at its finest. The best of the best Late Model drivers in the country banging fenders at the awesome Irwindale facility.
No sponser spewing, soda guzzling, media darlings here........just real racers, racing in front of real fans. This is what racing is all about!
Check it out!

Wow! Real racing and real fender benders! I missed most of the 1st race... but it seems I tuned in to a red flag, and then there was another one with only a few laps to go, and how many on the 2nd race? Dramatic finish on the last race.

Was fun to watch.

Toyota was the sponsor, not the cars racing. The cars were American Late Models, the Elite division which was invitation only from all over the country, and the Grand Americans which was east against west. It was a great show at a track where you can run 4 wide at times. David Gilliland won the GA race last year.

Thanks, Don.

I had a party to attend last night but I Tevo'd it. I'll catch it one evening next week.
A reminder for you: Two of your favourite drivers will be on Dave Despain's Wind Tunnel tonight, Jeffie-Pooh and Junior, the Irritator. I know you won't want to miss that!!! <ducking and running>
Hopefully, Robin Miller'll have a commentary; that'll be a bright spot, anyway.

Enjoy the racing Bob, the announcing was second rate at best, thanks to clowns that act like we have no clue as to what's happening at a race. Robin Miller is hilarious and a master at slamming Cup!

Do you know who he writes for now? I lost track of him since he got the boot from the Indianapolis Star.

Yep, Robin may be a bit over-enamored with the "Touch-Me-and-I-Break" Series, but he definately has a lot of good racing sense. I would like to meet and talk with him sometime.
